Hi, I’m Ashley—a queer, neurodivergent mom of four, former educator, and life coach passionate about helping families grow with compassion and courage. I am also an adult living with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, who has had to cope with an invisible pain disorder in a harsh world.
Through Unbound Roots Coaching, I support young adults who are learning to navigate their bodies and minds and need help learning to advocate for their needs. Whether they are struggling with gender, identity, or how to exist in their own skin, I am here to support. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where both teens and parents can feel seen, heard, and empowered to show up as their authentic selves. While my focus is self-advocacy for neurodivergent, hypermobile, and LBGTQIA+ youth, I am also here to support parents through all stages of parenting. Through my own unique life experiences, both as a human and as a parent, I strive to help you and your teen learn to set healthy boundaries, build safe communication skills, and form a solid base of self-advocacy strategies.
My goal is to help parents and young adults navigate identity, connection, and growth—without shame or fear. My work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, affirmed, and supported in their journey—whether you're exploring your own truth, or learning how to better support someone you love. My work does not soley focus on adolescents, I also love to work with other moms. As a mom, we often forget to leave space for ourselves physically and emotionally. With me, you will find not only a coach, but also a cheerleader, friend, and advocate.
As a self-advocacy coach, I specialize in helping parents show up for their children with compassion and clarity, and I guide young adults through the sometimes-messy, but always-powerful process of self-discovery while guiding them through the most productive ways to show up for yourself. I also work with moms at every stage of parenthood—because raising humans is hard, and you deserve a space to breathe, be heard, and grow, too. I believe that listening can, and should, be done with more than just your ears and that we should guide from our hearts.
This work is personal, powerful, and sacred to me. I’m here to help you untangle inherited narratives, reconnect with yourself/your loved one, and move forward unbound. It is my honor to walk this path with you and to support you and your family through life’s challenges.
It is my pleasure to work with:
Teens and Young Adults who need assistance learning to advocate for their needs
Parents looking to better support their LGBTQ+ children
Young adults exploring identity and autonomy
Families navigating complex dynamics with a desire to grow together
Moms who just need a space to be heard and lifted up
I believe in listening deeply, leading with empathy, and holding space for every kind of family. Whether you're figuring out who you are or how to love someone better, you are welcome here—fully and unconditionally.
Let’s unlearn shame, break cycles, and grow something powerful—together.
